Department Store Manager

Wallace’s Department Store is looking for a Department Store Manager. This is a permanent, full-time position, and the successful candidate will work on a roster basis five days a week, Monday to Sunday.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the store. Which will include managing staff, ordering, pricing, and merchandising.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience managing a team
  • Previously worked in retail

Deli Manager

Wallace’s SuperValu is looking for a Deli Manager to join our busy team in our Wellingtonbridge Store. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will work on a roster basis from Monday to Sunday.

Relevant Skills/Experience:
• Minimum 1 year’s fresh food deli management experience;
• Minimum 2 years experience in a role with strong exposure to fresh food;
• Experience in successfully achieving sales targets and KPIs that the management has set out;
• The candidate must be fully HACCP and food safety trained and has experience in meeting the HACCP and food safety requirements, and as such, has a proven track record in passing any required audits;
• Must have experience in ordering for deli departments and managing waste within a fresh food department;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Work as part of a team and give leadership and coach employees;
• Have a true passion for the food industry and, as such, be creative and innovative with the fresh offering.
